1983

On Tuesday, May 3, 1983 our little angel Alyssa Christine was born weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz.  She was just so beautifully perfect and snuggly from her head down to her ten perfect little toes.  She was a true gift from God.

This has to be one of my favorite photo's of Taylor and Alyssa together.  Taylor holding Alyssa so tight - you can feel their love for one another!  What gorgeous, happy smiles!!  Taylor (22 months) Alyssa (5 months).  I am so proud to be their mommy!!  Our future together was just beginning...

Our family has grown by two special little feet!

The opening page of the scrapbook I made for Alyssa...
Our brand new baby girl, Alyssa Christine Narloch was born on May 3, 1983.  What a precious little gift we were given.

July 1993

Alyssa is 5 months old ... what a little cutie pie!  The stuffed animal that Alyssa is snuggling with was so huge, but she just loved it.  Her smile is priceless!

February 1985
Tender Toes...

Alyssa was 2 1/2 when the doctors told us she needed casts to help correct her legs.  My heart sank with the thought of that poor little girl having to go through months and months of wearing casts but Alyssa was such a trooper!

August 1987
Spending time on Lake Auburn when Alyssa and Taylor were young held so many wonderful times.  Swimming in the warm water, playing in the sand for countless number of hours, enduring the many mosquito bites and roasting marshmallows at night by the fire.

Alyssa enjoying the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast while on vacation with mom and Taylor in St. Pete's beach...Alyssa's the perfect candidate for the song "all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth".

Alyssa celebrating her 9th birthday...
Alyssa, Taylor, Mom and Bobwent to Marc's Big Boy for dinner.  Alyssa picked the restuarant!

May, 1992

I always loved the carefree smile on Alyssa's face in this picture...
just hanging out and doing the hula!

May 1992 and May 1993

For Alyssa's 9th birthday we knew she had wanted a Game Boy but we never knew she wanted  one so badly! When she opened her gift and saw the Game Boy we were lucky to capture the exact moment!!

When Alyssa turned 10 we could tell she was changing.  We noticed a more mature Alyssa who was growing up.  Taking on responsibilities, a little more serious at times, really helpful around the house and always, always, always cuddling and kissing Nick!

6th Grade - 11 years old
What a happy time in Alyssa's life!
Playing basketball for the West Allis Rec. Dept.
Hanging out with her many friends.
Becoming a pen pal with a resident of Mt. Carmel.
Loving 6th Grade with Mr. Wajerski as her teacher.
Getting excellent grades in school!
Graduating from Franklin Elementary.
Being 11 years old was a wonderful time in  Alyssa's life!

Celebrating Alyssa turning 11...

out in California!  What a fun trip we had! We celebrated Alyssa's birthday by running through the waves in the Pacific Ocean, that's where these photo's were taken.  We stared out wondering "are there sharks out there? or maybe whales? Can we swim to Hawaii?" We all laughed...

Alyssa loved wearing sports team clothing; The Mighty Ducks and The Charlotte Hornets to name two.

November 1994
Mickey and Alyssa...this trip out to Disneyland was perfect for Alyssa! She absolutely loved anything Mickey! Alyssa's entire bedroom was Mickey Mouse so when she met Mickey for the first time she was so happy!

7th Grade - 12-years-old
7th Grade for Alyssa was the start of a brand new school - Middle School.  Even though the move and transition were very hard she still made the best of it! She made some wonderful new friends, she joined the basketball league, she won several Free Throw Contests and she had another awesome school year with excellent grades.

8th Grade - 13-years-old
Finally a teenager! 8th Grade was another wonderful year for Alyssa.  She excelled in so many areas...her academics, her basketball, her social circle and her home life.  8th grade can be such a tough time for anyone but Alyssa never seemed to let it get her down.

Alyssa's favorite movie this year was Titanic which she had gone to see 5 times; 3 times with friends and twice with Bob!

8th Grade Basketball
Alyssa's love for basketball was evident with the devotion she had for this sport.  Here is a photo of her when she played on the Bucks team through the Middle School.  She was an excellent player being kept in throughout each entire game.  She loved it!
(She looks so cute with that headband and wrist bands!)

Alyssa's team number was # 4 ~ her lucky number!

Alyssa is a Junior in High School!
Another year of great grades, another year of many fun times with friends. After taking 4 years of Spanish she ventured into French this year which she found challenging, to say the least.

May 3, 2003
Alyssa absolutely loved The Olive Garden, it was one of her favorite places to eat and be with friends and family.  We had taken her to eat there a couple of times...she enjoyed a nice glass of wine and her favorite chicken dish.

This photo is from when I took her there to celebrate her 21st birthday and I was able to buy her first cocktail...her first "legal" cocktail!  We laughed and enjoyed being with each other so much this day...I'm so grateful that she brought her camera along!  After our delicious lunch, I took her to The Scrapbook Store and let her do some birthday shopping!
I miss you Alyssa Christine ...love Mama

June 2003

What an exciting day!  Alyssa graduates from Vici Beauty College in Milwaukee, WI and her dream of becoming a hair stylist finally comes true!  I remember all throughout Middle School and High School the number of girlfriends that had Alyssa do their "up do's" for all the Homecomings and Proms!  Even at that early age she was so talented with creating beautiful hairstyles! (Photo to be included soon)

March 1, 2005
Alyssa becomes a loving Aunt for the third time to Taylor and Ray's new son  Raymond Adrian Rivera Jr.

I remember the day Ray-Ray was born Alyssa came to the hospital during her lunch hour while working at Lincoln State Bank to come and hold her new nephew...she didn't want to let him go!

This is the last photo taken of Alyssa and Ray-Ray together...

June 2005

Alyssa and Ricky officially started dating.  It had been so long since I saw a smile on Lyss's face so big.  He gave her "butterflies" she said.

2005
Alyssa became the most beautiful angel in heaven on July 06, 2005 at the age of 22.  Alyssa will forever be our beautiful guardian angel who is so deeply and sadly missed...

May God always keep you safe and warm in His arms Alyssa...
