Her legacy
Alyssa gift of giving...
Alyssa's final gift of giving was through organ donation.  She gave the most generous gift anyone could ever give.

We just received an update on the status of Alyssa's  two organ  recipients.  We're so happy to share that as of May 22, 2006 both recipients are doing wonderful and are leading healthy, normal lives all because of Alyssa.

Please, be sure to discuss with your family and loved ones about your wishes of organ donation.  It's the most important thing you might ever do to save someone's life.

Thank you,
Alyssa's proud family

My little Sis Lyss

My little sister Lyss was truely an amazing person.  She was always there for me whenever I needed someone to talk to.  We shared so many things together.  We talked about our first boyfriends, first kiss and our first babies.  Both Alyssa and I were both pregnant at the same time with Abigaile and Elaina.  I found out I was pregnant just when Alyssa was ready to have Abbey.  Between Alyssa and I my parents were quite shocked I think.  I am so thankful for Alyssa bringing so much joy to so many peoples lives.  Without her we would not have our little Abbey, who is so much like Alyssa.  She is stubborn, persistant, loving and gives such wonderful kisses!

Alyssa sure liked her computer.  Everytime she would come over she would run up stairs, smoke a cigarette and log on to AOL and see who was on-line or check her emails.  Once she got the internet, we would spend long hours on GSN playing Phrase Phrenzy or Lingo.   She always used to kick my butt because she could type so much faster than myself.

I am so honored to have had such a wonderful sister like Alyssa, but I am so saddened that it had to end at such an early age.  We were just beginning to enjoy ourselves a little more now that our kids were getting a little older and that we could go and do things with them.  I am also greatful that she was happy again.  I thank Ricky for that.  May they both rest in peace together for all eternity and always be together.  XOXO to both of you.
